Lila is survived by her son, Robert Robillard, and his wife, Donna Benz, of Bound Brook, NJ; her daughter, Renee Robillard, and her husband, James Lynch, of Albuquerque; her brother, Robert Peregrine, and his wife, Donna, of Rapid City, SD; her sister, Betty Schumann, of Fairmont, MN; and many wonderful Peregrine and Robillard nieces and nephews and their children.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert "Bob" G.When he was young, his family moved to the Moreau River area in Perkins County.He attended school there until they bought a place near Sturgis, SD.Bill started out working at Sturgis Livestock when he was in high school, as well as breaking and training horses, which he continued to do for his entire life-time.After the family moved back to Sturgis, Bill ranched with his father and worked at Wheeler Lumber and Bridge in Whitewood, SD. In 1985, Bill opened up his welding and repair shop at the family home.at the First United Methodist Church in Sturgis with Pastor Jenene Earl officiating.Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
Then the young couple moved to work at the 2 Rivers Ranch before moving back to Stoneville.
Lila Mae Peregrine Robillard, was born in Newell, SD, on November 2, 1922, to Glenn and May (Boyner) Peregrine.
Lila grew up in and attended school through the seventh grade in Mud Butte, SD, and went to eighth grade and high school in Sturgis, SD.
Robillard; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard and Barbara Peregrine and Bill and Delores Peregrine; her nephew, Dale Schumann; and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Charles Schumann, Robert Knisel, Gregory Robillard, Charles Robillard, Jr, Doris Knisel, and Shirley Robillard.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at a.m.
